Bhimakali Temple, stationed on the banks of the Beas River, is a major religious site in Mandi. The main deity of the temple is Goddess Bhima Kali-Avatar of Goddess Durga. There is a huge museum inside the temple which displays special images of Hindu deities. It is believed that this is the only scene on this earth that has witnessed the great war between Lord Krishna against the demon Banasura.
